Tropfest bright sparks get chance to shine

Now he’ll be getting the chance to wow Australia with his first full-length feature film.

As part of their sponsorship of Tropfest, Participate Film Academy has awarded Johnny a full scholarship worth A$6,000.

Two half-scholarships have also gone to runners-up, Steven Woodburn and Karl Madderom.
 
At Participate, they will learn from industry professionals all they need to know to make a feature film including directing, producing, editing, cinematography and more.
 
By the end of 12 months, the students will walk the red carpet to their big-screen premiere at Hoyts and gain a globally recognised feature film credit.
