Day 4 - Car park ATP
After 3 days of experience, first day in the bushes where everything was unpredictable and 2 days in a school where everything was going so well..we all thought we were knowing what we were doing now but Day 4 had to come along. What was meant to be a simple shoot at the AustralianTechnologyPark proved us wrong.
Simple can be complicated some times. I think most of the time issues were from lighting and sound. Filming at night near a train station is never the easiest. We also had Ben, one of the directors, acting in that scene which probably is a reason why it took a while to organize. But seeing the look on his face was priceless. Him enjoying with his 3 mates in the car...singing and acting like fools..was a great moment! We got to have some of those during the shoot.
We also got to have a lot of extras for our background which was fun to organize. Mainly it was the crew and even some of our main actors, (which we had to hide their face), we also used random people which were passing by and were asking to be part of it - which was really cool. Some even said we were working like professionals and wanted us to call them again if needed.
We finished around 12am thinking that at last we were done with that scene..only to realize days after that we missed some essential shots for continuity and that we would need to re-shoot. I was just thinking of Matt, the main character! He was going to get sprayed by beer all over again! Ohhhhh!! But he loved it! A real trooper
